Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the following positions in non-executive category in  Barauni Kanpur Pipeline (BKPL) of the Pipeline Division.

Post Name : Engineering Assistant (Mechanical and Electrical)

Qualifications : 3 years Full time Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering from Government recognized institute with minimum 55% marks. (Pass marks for SC category candidates for the post reserved for SC).

Experience : Preferably two-years post qualification experience in relevant area. Working knowledge of computer is desirable.

No. Of Post : 03 (Mechanical: 01-UR, 01-SC and Electrical: 01-UR) Posts.

Age Limit : 18-26 Years.

Pay Scale : Rs.11900-32000/- PM (Consolidated).

Selection Procedure:

1. The selection procedure will comprise of Written Test, Trade Test and Personal Interview for Engineering Assistant (Mechanical and Electrical) and Written Test, Physical Fitness Test and Personal Interview for Line Inspection Attendant  –I. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test would be called for Personal Interview and Trade / Physical Fitness Test. The candidate will have to pass through each stage including medical fitness for being adjudged as suitable for selection.
2. Filling up of vacancies is solely at the discretion of the Management based on suitability of candidates and no claim will arise for appointment, if vacancies are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number of candidates.

Concession:

1. Relaxation in upper age by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates for the posts reserved for them. Upper age relaxation of 10 years for PWD candidates. Ex-servicemen shall be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the armed forces of the Union from his actual age, and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post by more than three years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding the age limit. 
2. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
3. SC/ST candidates called for test/interview will be reimbursed single 2nd class ordinary railway fare limited to rail fare from the nearest railway station of the mailing address to the place of test/interview and back by the shortest route, on production of bus ticket/rail ticket, provided the distance is not less than 30 kms each side.
